Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Unrationed, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. They apply to unrationed.com, to the member application at app.unrationed.com, and to every program we run — Wild32, the Unrationed Community, the Unrationed Year, retreats, and facilitation engagements.

By using the site or app, creating an account, or joining a program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current.
• You are responsible for your password and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share or transfer your account or program access.

This is a community of men who take responsibility. The standards are simple and we enforce them.

• Confidentiality. What is shared in the community, on calls, and at retreats stays there. Do not screenshot, record, republish, or repeat another member's story outside the container.
• Respect. No harassment, threats, bigotry, sexual harassment, or intimidation of any member, facilitator, guest, or staff member.
• Honesty. Do not falsify check-ins, results, or leaderboard activity. Fabricated activity forfeits standing and prizes.
• No solicitation. Do not use the community primarily to pitch, recruit, or sell without our written permission.
• Lawful use. Do not use our services to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, scrape our systems, or interfere with the platform.

We may warn, suspend, or remove any member who violates these standards, at our discretion and without refund where the violation is serious.

Unrationed programs involve physical exertion, cold exposure, fasting or dietary commitments, early mornings, hiking, backcountry travel, water activities, and other strenuous or outdoor activity. These activities carry real risk of injury, illness, property damage, and in rare cases death.

You are responsible for your own body and your own decisions. Consult a physician before beginning any Unrationed challenge, retreat, or fitness commitment, particularly if you have a medical condition, are taking medication, or are recovering from injury. You may modify or stop any activity at any time, and you should.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, and you release Unrationed, its members, facilitators, and staff from claims arising out of those risks. Some retreats and events require a separate signed waiver; where one exists, it controls for that event.

Unrationed provides peer community, coaching-style facilitation, and personal development programming. Nothing on the site, in the app, in the podcast, in essays, or in any program is medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or tax advice, and no facilitator-client professional relationship is created. If you are in crisis or need care, contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

Entry fees, memberships, deposits, prizes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Program, Payment & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

The Unrationed name, logo, site design, program materials, curriculum, podcast episodes, essays, and photography are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, listen, share links, and quote briefly with attribution. You may not copy, resell, or use our program materials to run your own competing program without written permission.

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting in the community or submitting content to us, you grant Unrationed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the community. We will ask you before using anything personally identifying — your name, face, or story — in public marketing.

Our site and app link to third-party services such as podcast platforms, payment processors, and social networks. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

The site, app, and programs are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we make no guarantee of any particular result — physical, financial, relational, or otherwise. What you get out of Unrationed depends on what you put in.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unrationed, LLC and its members, facilitators, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site, app, or a program will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for that program in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Unrationed harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the services, your content, your conduct toward other members, or your violation of these terms or the law.

You may stop using the services or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if your payment fails, or if we discontinue a program. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

We may update these terms. We will update the effective date, and for material changes we will notify members by email or in the app. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing anything formal, email us at danny@unrationed.com and give us a genuine chance to make it right — most things get solved with a conversation. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
