Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it removed.

Effective August 14, 2026

01Who we are

Unrationed, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers our marketing site at unrationed.com and our member application at app.unrationed.com, including accounts, program participation, community content, and paid programs.

Questions or requests: danny@unrationed.com.

02Information we collect

We try to collect as little as we can while still running real programs with real people.

  • Email address. When you sign up for field notes on unrationed.com, we store your email address along with the page or form the signup came from.
  • Account and profile information. When you create an account in the app, we store your name, email address, and anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a photo, location, or short bio.
  • Program participation data. When you join Wild32, the community, The Year, or a retreat, we store your enrollment, daily check-ins, streaks, leaderboard standing, and other activity you record in the app.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of the transaction, the amount, and limited card metadata such as the last four digits. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Community content. Messages, posts, comments, and photos you share in the community or on calls are stored so other members can see them.
  • Applications. If you apply for The Year or a retreat, we store your responses.
  • Technical and log data. Our hosting and backend providers record standard information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, for security and reliability.

03How we use your information

  • To run the programs you signed up for and to keep your account working.
  • To operate the community, including leaderboards, groups, and member-to-member connection.
  • To send you field notes, program announcements, and transactional messages such as receipts and reminders.
  • To answer support requests and resolve billing questions.
  • To keep participants safe and to enforce our Terms of Use.
  • To improve the site, the app, and our programs.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

04Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it to do their job for us:

  • Hosting, database, and authentication providers that store your account and program data.
  • Email delivery providers that send field notes and transactional messages.
  • Payment processors that handle entry fees, memberships, deposits, and refunds.
  • Podcast hosting and distribution platforms, which receive standard listener request data when you play an episode.
  • Professional advisers, and law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to respond.

If Unrationed is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, member information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy.

05Community content and confidentiality

Unrationed only works because men tell the truth in the room. Anything you post in the community, share on a Wake Up Call or Community Call, or say at a retreat may be seen or heard by other members. We ask every member to keep what is shared inside the community confidential, and our Terms of Use require it — but we cannot guarantee what another person will do. Share accordingly.

We may photograph or film retreats and events for use in our own materials. If you would rather not appear, tell a facilitator on site or email us and we will honor it.

06Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember session state, such as unlocking a private page. These are required for the site and app to work.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site ad networks on unrationed.com. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies; blocking essential cookies will break sign-in.

07How long we keep information

We keep account and program data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so you can return without losing your history. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Financial records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your data sooner and we will, except where we are legally required to keep it.

08Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls on our backend, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

09Your rights and choices

  • Access. Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate, or edit it yourself in the app.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your account and associated personal information.
  • Unsubscribe. Use the unsubscribe link in any field notes email, or email us. You will still receive transactional messages related to programs you are enrolled in.
  • Objection and restriction. Ask us to stop or limit certain processing.

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. Residents of the EU, UK, and similar jurisdictions have rights under GDPR and equivalent laws, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email danny@unrationed.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time your law allows.

10Children

Unrationed is for adults. Our site, app, and programs are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11International participants

We operate from the United States, and our providers store data in the United States. If you participate from another country, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our programs change. We will update the effective date at the top, and for material changes we will notify members by email or in the app.
